Hoover Library Big Read Kick-Off!

Join the Hoover Library as we celebrate Mark Twain’s classic The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and the start of Big Read 2010 with an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social and The Red Mountain Family Band as entertainment.

All ages are welcome!

The Big Read provides citizens with the opportunity to read and discuss a single book, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. Pick up a copy today at the Hoover Public Library and join us in our celebration, discussions and special programs during the month of March.

UAB Bookends presents The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Wear Tom's White Wash to this stage adaptation for kids of all ages. This event takes place in The Library Theatre. This event is free and open to the public.
