Shakespeare quote from Macbeth

Calling all witches and wizards!  Our annual BIG Halloween party is back!  Join us for a night of spellbinding fun at Double, Double, Toil & Trouble! on Friday, October 28, 2022.  The sensory friendly preview begins at 6 p.m. (Call 205-444-7830 to learn more and register for early access), but the doors open to the public at 7 p.m.  Cauldrons, broomsticks, and costumes are encouraged as you explore the worlds of the Sanderson Sisters, Harry Potter, and a variety of Wicked Witches!  Here's a breakdown of everything you can do before we stop the fun at 9 p.m.

THEATRE LEVEL
Enjoy a little bit of Hocus Pocus!  Catch all three Sanderson Sisters on the stage for a meet-and-greet . . . and don't be surprised if they burst into song or put a spell on you!  You'll also get the chance to use a broom (sorry, no vacuums or Swiffers) to guide a ball through a maze, take a moment to make a craft featuring the hair of your favorite Sanderson Sister (mine would be Mary), and stroll through both the town of Salem and the museum where the sisters kept their black flame candle.  Keep your eyes open for Binx -- you'll find this black cat hiding throughout town.

PLAZA/TEEN DEPT
Explore the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!  Find the perfect wand at Ollivander's (remember, the wand chooses the wizard) and get sorted into your house with the Sorting Hat in the Great Hall.  Sample a Butterbeer snack mix in the Three Broomsticks and perfect your skills at Quidditch Practice.  Don't forget to make a Remembrall!  And make sure you stop by Madam Malkin's Photo Booth to capture even more memories!

KID ZONE
Get a sneak peek at lots of other literary wicked witches!  Get turned into a mouse and escape The Witches by running through a hotel maze.  Travel to Oz by tornado and melt the Wicked Witch of the West (beware of falling houses)!  Sneak a bite of a candy house with Hansel and Gretel, then build a candy house of your own.  Create a Glowstick Broomstick, then dance in the dark with the Sorcerer's Apprentice (Mickey Mouse), brooms, and buckets.  Try your hand at the Witch Hat Ring Toss.  And keep your eyes open for the Evil Queen disguised as a hag!  She might be handing out "poison" apple candy.

* Remember, this event is FREE and open to all!  The crowd will be large, so you may want to arrive early.
